Over the weekend I got to do another shoot with Arizona Model Management, this time with three amazing girls from the agency. This shoot was pretty whimsical and pretty much every girl got a chance to be a princess for a bit. This look was definitely one of my favorites :)

Java Magazine Photoshoot Sneak peak

Here's a sneak peak from my photoshoot at Mount Lemmon with Erika for Java Magazine's April issue. I absolutely loved this shot but the mood didn't quite fit the rest of the story so I didn't include it in the editorial so you get to see it as a tiny sneak peak! As for the rest, you'll have to wait until the issue comes out on April 1st. Super happy with how everything came out and I think you will enjoy it :)

I recently did a styled bridal shoot with my beautiful friend Aubreigh and a very talented NYC based photographer Jennifer Sosa. Jen and I met through a mutual friend via instagram (how fun is that!!) and when she was going to be in town last month she contacted me to put together a shoot. We decided to do a bohemian styled bridal shoot in the middle of the desert at one of my favorite locations in Apache Junction. These are just a few of the photos I took from the first look. Tourtise and the Hair Photoshoot: Behind the Scenes

If you think these pictures are rad just wait until you see which ones we picked to show at the exhibition! I know I'm getting pretty jazzed....! Today we printed the final photos, bought and cleaned frames and mounted them all. The only things left are writing our artist statement, finishing up the accompanying illustrations and hanging everything. This project has been going a lot smoother than hoped which is always excellent. Can't wait to show some of the photos from The Alice in Wonderland shoot.......stay tuned!

Just wanted to share a few pictures my friend Shane Hubbard took of me. I'm wearing some of my favorite vintage pieces from my own personal collection complete with a super fab vintage buis time brief case that should be up in the shop soon :) In other news I have about one more week until I leave for NYC for the summer! SO much to do before then including a big art show at Fractal gallery tomorrow! I'm going to try to take pictures at the show to share. I'm usually bad about taking out and about type photos because I generally want to be part of the party and if I have a camera I kind of get locked to that and go into my own special world. Sooooo I'll be good take some sweet documentary type photos and be social at the same time. Multi tasking I can do it (!)

Local Spotlight: Gospel Lee

Hello all! Just wanted to share some of my most recent creative work. Last weekend I had the privilege of shooting some pictures of my awesome friend Gospel Lee. He's an amazing spirit filled guy with a huge heart and a great ear and voice for hip hop music. He's going to be having his first show as a emcee/ hip hop artist in a few weeks so we took these pics in preparation. He lives in Apache Junction where the terrain is very very desert so it was a lot of fun embracing the cactus filled Arizona landscaping! There were a few times we were both a bit nervous of all the prickliness around us, but we survived, and got some pretty rad sauce shots. Enjoy :)

PS did an awesome vintage shoot w/ Rachel yesterday and should have a bunch of new goods up tomorrow and Monday! Stay tuned!!
