I recently had the opportunity to shoot a lookbook for a Phoenix Fashion Week emerging designer Stephanie Gentry. Now that fashion week has past and the collection has been released I can finally share a few of my favorites of beautiful Mia! It was such a cool experience to get to shoot this and be a small part of fashion week here in Phoenix.

Alright, I think I've been enough of a tease. The KPV Snow Angel Lookbook is now available on issuu! :) A humongous thank you to Whitney for baring the 10 degree weather in sleeveless dresses fabulously and to Johanna for providing an amazing location. I love you girls!!

She's a Free Bird

Over the weekend two dear friends and I set out on an adventure to find snow and take pictures in it. It sounded like quite a fabulous idea to me. I had never shot in the snow (living in the desert and all) and it's something I've really been wanting to do. So I gathered a "winter" wardrobe for the model to wear featuring an array white and blue sparkly dresses and we set off to Payson for 10 degree weather. Holy cow did I dress my girl inappropriately!! The first few shots I honestly thought I was going to kill poor Whitney. It was pretty intense. But the sun started coming out a bit (warming us up to maybe 20 degrees??) and we got the cabin heated up so that in between shots we could take a tiny break from the cold. Wheeeew! It was seriously quite the adventure and I am SO happy with how the shoot came out so it was completely worth it. I'll probably be putting a lookbook together with these since there were so many cool shots. Also, as you may have guessed by seeing the above images, I've been working on some new feather headdresses that will be going up in the shop very soon, yay!

I am so excited to share this new piece with you! It's probably the most favorite project I've ever done and I'm super happy with how it turned out. Photographed mainly with 35 mm film using minimal editing featuring the gorgeous Destiny Wolf shot at the natural bridge in Payson, Arizona. The story is about a Siren who just really wants to find true love, but can she be trusted? I had a lot of fun with the styling and tried to do something a bit different and mainly focused on pieces that were 1920s inspired. I hope you enjoy and please feel free to share!
