Summer Lookbook Video 2012

A couple months ago one of my girlfriends who is currently finishing up film school, Kristine, approached me and was interested in putting a short lookbook film together for Kitten Paws. Knowing Kristine and her talent I was super excited to work with her and now seeing everything come together my expectations have totally been exceeded. Kristine did such a great job filming, directing and helping concept the piece and it was so much fun collaborating with her! Nicole Cain, who you've seen in many a Kitten Paws photos, was our beautiful model and she did such a wonderful job being oh so whimsical and dreamy. I was also super excited to get to use a song from Michelle Blades, a super talented Phoenix based singer song writer. I think the song really set the mood we were going for perfectly. Anyways hope you enjoy the new lookbook video. I also have a bunch of pretty photos to share which hopefully will be up tomorrow :)

Kitten Paws Vintage Lookbook Test Video

Just wanted to share our little tester video Silas shot in preparation for the summer lookbook video we are getting ready to put together. We didn't really have any specific concept behind this one just kind of did some detail shots of a few different pieces the lovely Nicole was wearing during the last photoshoot as she explored about an abandoned house. The main goal of this shoot was just to kind of help me get an idea of how the video process worked and to start the brain storming on our official video lookbook. It was pretty fun and turned out neat so I thought I would share. Enjoy :)

I LOVE THIS VIDEO. Seriously so much.

So it's getting down the wire on video making time. I know I mentioned it a bit ago but things are finally coming together for the Kitten Paws Vintage summer lookbook video! It's going to be pretty rad and I'm super excited about it. A few hints: There may possibly be dancing. There may possibly be roller skating. There will definitely be pretty girls in pretty vintage clothing. There may possibly be many wonderful things that are yet to be revealed. We have the basic concept-ing, music, a stylist, a choreographer, a videographer, and models. Still looking for possibly 1 or 2 more models and nailing down the wardrobe and some other details but it looks like it's really going to happen and all the pieces are coming together :) Can.not.wait.

I am so incredibly inspired by this multi talented lady Celia Rowlson-Hall! Director/choreographer/actress/model she has got it goin on! I think I am most inspired by her awesome dance moves. Anyone who knows me knows I LOOOVE to dance and anyone who can hold their own on the dance floor gets mad respect from Tiffany. Apparently Celia was hosting a once a week Dance Party Class in NYC over the month of September. Just a month too late for my stay in the city so sad :( Hopefully it will happen again. Such an inspiration!!

On a kind of related note I am collaborating with a few friends on a lookbook type video for KittenPaws. We're still in the concepting phase so I have no idea what it's going to consist of yet but I am super excited and can't wait to start getting everything together :) Yay for creative collaborations!!
