Lemonade Stand!

Above is just a tiny teaser of our lemonade stand setup from the video we shot yesterday! It was a pretty convincing stand as several people stopped by to try to get their 25 cent lemonade but we had to turn them away because we only had two cups and needed all the lemonade we had ha. Everything went pretty darn well and I'm extremely excited to see the final product come together. I received the still images back this afternoon which turned out pretty rad. I've put up a few teasers on the Kitten Paws Facebook Page and will continue to put up a few more in the next week until I release the official photo lookbook followed by the video lookbook. Yayyy! Can't wait to share more :)

Kitten Paws Vintage Lookbook Test Video

Just wanted to share our little tester video Silas shot in preparation for the summer lookbook video we are getting ready to put together. We didn't really have any specific concept behind this one just kind of did some detail shots of a few different pieces the lovely Nicole was wearing during the last photoshoot as she explored about an abandoned house. The main goal of this shoot was just to kind of help me get an idea of how the video process worked and to start the brain storming on our official video lookbook. It was pretty fun and turned out neat so I thought I would share. Enjoy :)

Inspiration: TBA Spring/Summer Lookbook

I'm completely inspired by everything in To Be Adored's Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook. I love the photography, styling, layout, clothing, backdrops, everything. I love how they paired some of the images with photos of flowers and surrounding nature. These images make me so happy.

I've been thinking a lot about possibly going to more of a studio setup for my regular shop updates and once a month or season do a more special look book type shoot. I feel like my images would be a lot more focused and my shop would probably have a more consistent feel. I dunno. I've been down this road before and I got bored ha. I am thinking though that since summer (and 100+ degree weather) is coming quickly I may try to do my next updates indoors so that I don't torture the lovely girls who volunteer to model for me. I'll just have to get a bit more creative with the styling to feed my creativity and also learn about studio lighting and fancy flashes which I am a total rookie at. I should have at least one or two more shoots though before it gets retarded hot. Oh to live in the desert....
