I mentioned this a bit ago but I finally had time to photograph the Cold Desert album I designed and did photography work for. The album not only looks pretty cool, but it sounds amazing! Check it out here :)

The Cold Desert Album Photography

The new Cold Desert album is almost here! Along with some incredible new tunes from the band you will also get to enjoy some photos of the gorgeous Natalia photographed by yours truly, yay! Their cd release party will be February 17th at the Crescent ballroom in downtown Phoenix. If you are a Phoenician, definitely a party you shouldn't miss! This is another one of my favorites from The Cold Desert Woman & God photoshoot and kind of what I'm thinking for juxtaposing the images together. I think this was one of my favorites because the sunlight is coming in so that it perfectly points to and lights up what he's reading.

Another one of my favorites from my photoshoot for The Cold Desert's upcoming album Woman & God. For this half of the shoot I photographed each guy in the band in scenes that represented the 7 deadly sins all taking place on an old church bench we set up on a sidewalk in downtown Phoenix. Each image will be juxtaposed with an image similar to above. More photos of the guys to come! :)

Just wanted to share a few of my latest photos for The Cold Desert's new upcoming album Woman & God. These were shot with 35 mm film in downtown Phoenix over the weekend in front of a gorgeous historial church with model Natalia Schulte. Can't wait to share how it all comes together!

Album Artwork - The Cold Desert

I just finished some album artwork for an awesome local band called The Cold Desert. They are putting out a new EP and judging by what I've heard so far, it's going to be really amazing. One of my all time favorite people and long time friends Matt Klassen is the lead vocalist dude. I've absolutely loved watching this kid grow into quite the musical genius over the years and am so excited about this band and this new EP. YAYY!

On a side note if you're a local The Cold Desert is playing a show tonight in downtown Phoenix at the Lexington Hotel for Spash Pool Party. Come and support local awesome!!
