Lulus Style Studio

Friday night we went to a really fun event in downtown Phoenix put on by Lulus. The night included a ton of freebees, cool clothing  by Lulus, a fun photobooth by Mr.FunBooth and lots of adorable Phoenix fashionistas. It was pretty funny and awesome because our girl group was kind of coordinated but not on purpose at all. Whitney and I left the house together her with a blue polka dotted dress and me with an orange lace dress to meet up with Amber who happened to be wearing an orange polka dotted dress that tied us all together. Not planned but totally awesome hah. Such a fun evening! :)

Sareena Dominguez Album Release!

Musician Sareena Dominguez // Photographed by Tiffany Egbert // Headbands by Kitten Paws

Back in April I took some photos of a super talented local musician, Miss Sareena Dominguez. I saved a few to share with the announcement of her official album release which was just announced to be July 7th. So far she's only shared a couple of songs online and they have been incredible so I'm super excited to hear the entire album. If you happen to be a Phoenician and want to check out her cd release party it's going to be July 7th from 6-9 pm at the Roxy Lounge in Old town Scottsdale. Check out the deets here. Yay for local awesome!

Phoenix Comicon

Yesterday I experienced my first ever Comicon! I'll admit, I'm not really into comic books or anime or Star Trek but I have boyfriend who is so I decided to go and see what all the hubbub was a all about and ended up having a lot of fun. I also went with my friend Anya (pictured as Sailor Moon above) who is a costume designer so it was  a lot of fun to see her get really excited about all the costumes and hear her perspective on costume design. We also played a fun game of collect all of the Sailor Moons (which apparently is one of the most popular costumes at comicon) and got photos of Anya and about 20 other Sailor Moons ha :)

Photoshoot with Musician Sareena Dominguez

Hello all! Just wanted to share a few photos from a recent shoot I did with musician Sareena Dominguez for her upcoming album, Moonbeams. She wanted simple yet whimsical head shots so we headed to downtown Phoenix where there are all sorts of fun old buildings that become perfect simple backdrops. We caught the golden hour so the lighting could't have been more wonderful. Above are just a few of my favorites, expect to see a more once the new album comes out. Also be sure to check out the song above, it's amazing!! :)

Photoshoot with Hurry the Rising

This weekend I had the privilege of taking some photos of a really fantastic Phoenix based band called Hurry the Rising. We went out into the desert for this one to one of my favorite spots in Apache Junction. It was actually the first super warm day we've had this year and I'll admit, I sweat a little bit or glistened or glittered or whatever girls are supposed to do ha. Overall a super fun shoot with some fantastic people. Above are just a few of  my favorite images from the shoot. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!

Phoenix Favs: The Crescent Ballroom

Photos by Tiffany Egbert January 20th, 2012 at the Crescent Ballroom

The Crescent Ballroom, one of my most favorite places in all of Phoenix celebrated 100 days of being in business yesterday and I am so glad! This music venue was much needed in Phoenix and has already hosted so many talented musicians. Saturday night I went with a few friends to see What Laura SaysBrian Lopez  and Yellow Minute, and it was absolutely fantastic! If you are a Phoenician and haven't checked out the Crescent yet, you probably should. It may just complete your life. Or at least your social life. On top of fantastic music, they also have very tasty burritos (random I know ha) and delicious sangria :) Check.it.out!

Music Monday: Gospel Lee at the RAGE Music Festival Phoenix

Saturday I spent the day at the RAGE Music Festival as the official photographer of Hip Hop genius and my dear friend, Gospel Lee. He ended up playing two different sets, one on the local stage and one on the main stage. This was his first ever festival so it was really really cool that he got to play on the main stage. Both sets were absolutely INCREDIBLE. The music was fantastic as usual and his performance was crazy energetic. The audience got pretty into it and there was a pretty good crowd for both sets. Overall it was a really fun day and so cool to get to see Gospel in action doing something that he was obviously supernaturally gifted and born to do.

More photos of this show on my Facebook Photography Page (which I'm going to try to update more!)
