Triple M Apparel Lookbook Shoot

 

Over the weekend I got to do a super fun photo shoot with my friend Michelle for her clothing line Triple M Apparel. Above are a few of my favorite images from the shoot. One really cool thing about her clothing is that she uses unexpected recycled materials to make most of her garments. She's recently gotten into making things out of table cloths. Examples above - white lace jacket, green dress and purple dress ALL made out of table cloths. So cool!!

Hello all! What a fun and exciting week it's been so far! I'm so thrilled to be moving TOMORROW into a super cute house with a bunch of super sweet girls in a city that I pretty much spend all of my time in already. It's about 30 minutes from where I live currently and much closer to most of my friends, my work, my church, most of my favorite coffee shops and thrift shops etc. Pretty much closer to everything.

This weekend has been pretty rad so far. Thursday night I got to see the band Hurry the Rising at the Rogue which was so much fun! Maria, who is one of the Refurban Girls and also a Kitten Paws model is the lead singer and has the most KILLER vocals. Seriously her voice is out of control in the best way possible. Everytime I see them they get better and better. I highly recommend if you are a local.

Last night I got to see Bare Bones and Muscles, a dance concert, my friend Whitney performed in. Seriously so inspiring! Every piece was incredible and made me wish I had mad dancing skills. Whitney is also going to be doing the choreography for our video lookbook which I am super stoked about. I have so many amazingly talented friends its a bit ridiculous. The show is going on again tonight, another thing to check out this weekend :)

Tomorrow I have a little treat to share on the blog, it's a test video we shot for the Kitten Paws lookbook. It was before we concepted anything out just kind of taking footage along side of the photos we were taking for the last shop update so that I could kind of wrap my brain around the whole video making process. Even though it was just "tester video" with no real concepting or planning it turned out super fun which makes me all the more excited for the real deal. Can't wait to share......

This weekend I got to be a part of a super fun photoshoot for Triple M Apparel! Triple M Apparel is a brand new clothing line put out by Refurban Designs based out of Phoenix Arizona that not only makes a variety of super cool zombie shirts, but also really amazing bags, scarves, dresses and other manners of clothing and accessories mainly out of recycled materials. Triple M Apparel is the brainchild of Michelle Marie Merriman whose name and face may be familiar to you because she has been modeling for kittenpaws this past year and is also one owners of Refurban Designs which I've blogged about more than a few times. This shoot was such a fun time and I am so excited for Michelle as she launches her new clothing line and begins to start selling her super awesome wears online. As we speak items are being added to her etsy shop oh myyy! Triple M Apparel also makes custom items from time to time so if there's something special you've been dreaming of adding to your closet be sure to contact Michelle via facebook or etsy and she may be able to make your dreams come true.... :)

Kitten Paws Vintage shoot with the Refurban Girls

 

This afternoon I had the wonderful priveldge of photo shooting with the beatiful Maria and Michelle of Refurban Designs. The shoot was kind of last minute but everything really came together and we had a lot of fun! Lots of cute new things to add to the shop which will be up by Thursday evening or Friday afternoon :)

Art Bomb!

What a fun event! Last night we had our second quarterly annual Art Bomb and it was a blast! We were able to borrow the DayTwelve space which was perfect and a huge blessing. Last Art Bomb  we did sort of yard sale style and the art was on tables. This time we had a gallery to hang stuff up in as well as a kitchen to prepare foods and space for bands to play. Leigh and I had artwork up and Maria and Michelle of Refurban had some kick butt refurbished furniture and clothing. Music was provided by two great local acts Tobie Milford and Hurry the Rising. I think the best part of the evening though was all the great people that showed up. Seriously so many of my favorite people in the whole world all in one space. You made my night :) Such a good time!!
